China’s August steel cross-border trade trends reverse
In August this year, China’s steel exports rebounded from the prior month while imports fell, reversing their respective trends in the previous two months. On a year-on-year basis, year-to-date exports were still higher but imports weakened, according to data from the General Administration of Customs.
