Over 600mt Chinese capacity undergoes ultra-low emissions transformation
Some 610 million tonnes/year of Chinese crude steel capacity is undergoing the transformation to ultra-low emissions, said Liu Bingjiang, director of the Department of Atmospheric Environment at China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment. He was speaking at the China Steel Energy Conservation and Emissions Reduction Forum held in Beijing on 26 September.
