China seeks more offshore wind power
China’s Hebei Iron and Steel Group’s Wuyang Iron & Steel recently supplied 1,000 tonnes of steel to the Jiangsu Dongtai offshore wind power project, according to local media. Chinese offshore wind power development has been slower than expected so far, despite ambitious government targets, Kallanish notes.
