China threatens retaliation on MES
China has warned that it would take measures to retaliate against countries which continue to use surrogate markets to determine fair value in dumping investigations against its exports. The comments come after the USA and Japan rejected China's Market Economy Status (MES) and the European Commission (EC) began an investigation into galv imports which implied a third country would be used, Kallanish notes.
