China steelmakers update on April maintenance work
Several Chinese steelmakers updated their maintenance plans for mid- and late-April, Kallanish notes.
Magang plans to refurbish a 1,780mm cold rolling line as from 16 April for six days. This followed planned maintenance on two annealing lines for ten and twelve days respectively as from 1 April. The work is estimated to have an impact on output of 77,600 tonnes.
Juneng Special Steel in Shandong province plans to start maintenance on a bar line as from mid-April.…
