China Steel hikes prices for July/August shipments
Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel has raised its domestic prices for material for July and August shipment, Kallanish notes.
The company says it sees a positive atmosphere in the steel market which has led to prices strengthening in Taiwan’s domestic market. Steel inventories remain low both internationally and domestically which has seen demand increase as user sectors move to replenish stocks.
