China Steel Corp increases sales volumes in August
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) saw its monthly sales volumes increase month-on-month in August. Revenues also grew but monthly income fell on the same basis, Kallanish notes from the integrated steelmaker’s preliminary result.
August sales volumes increased by 4.2% to 895,055 tonnes from 858,893t in July. The cumulative sales total to the end of August was 7.35 million tonnes of which 69% went into the domestic market, CSC says. Exports were …
