China Steel boosts 2018 margins on volume, price

Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) saw its sales volumes increase 3.7% year-on-year to 11.24 million tonnes in 2018. Its reference figures suggest strong profit growth on the back of higher revenues, Kallanish notes. Over the full calendar year, CSC earned revenues of TWD 400.665 billion ($12.98 billion), up 15.5% year on year.
