China slump drags CIS coil export prices down
The downwards trend in CIS coil export prices has continued last week, driven mainly by the slump in Chinese export prices, Kallanish learns from market participants.
CIS mills have initially tried to keep their offer levels at $460-465/t for HRC and $530-540/t for CRC, both fob, June shipment. Bid prices, however, have fallen respectively to $440-445/t fob and $510-520/t fob, with workable prices close to these levels, according to sources.
