Chinese shipbuilding continues to sink in October
Chinese shipbuilding volumes have continued to slump over January-October 2016, dragging down steel demand from the sector.
China would now have to complete 13.63 million deadweight tonnes over the rest of the year to meet the 41m dwt forecast set by the China Association of National Shipbuilding Industry (Cansi) earlier in the year, Kallanish notes.
