China sets 2016 railway investment at CNY 800 billion
A China Railway Work conference held in Beijing over the weekend announced that fixed asset investment in railways is planned at CNY 800 billion ($121 billion) in 2016. This suggests steel demand from inter-city railway construction may see only a small increase from 2015, Kallanish notes.
