China sees more imported scrap arrivals
Scrap purchased by Chinese steel mills has been arriving at Chinese ports ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday starting 11 February. Although completed deals have been sparse, they have provided confirmation that importing scrap into China is workable in practice as prices begin to become more attractive, Kallanish notes.
