China sees late May construction steel price increase
Major steel mills in China have lifted their late May construction steel ex-work prices by CNY 80-300/tonne ($11.61-43.54/t), following several days of spot price increases. Spot market traders reflect that some of the most-traded rebar specification is still lacking in supply on the market but futures prices still pulled back slightly from recent highs on Tuesday, Kallanish notes.
