China releases 2035 national highway network plan
China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) recently released the national road network plan, aiming at the construction, expansion and renovation of highways belonging to the national road system by 2035, Kallanish notes.
Compared to the end of 2021, the NDRC plans to build an additional 38,000 kilometres of high-speed roads and 41,000km of ordinary highways.
