China registers coke export rebound in August
China’s coke exports rebounded in August compared with the prior month, but both monthly and year-to-date exports were lower than the corresponding period of 2022, according to data from the General Administration of Customs.
Monthly exports of Chinese coke rebounded 35.5% on July to 871,088 tonnes, but were still down 13.3% from a year earlier, Kallanish notes. The average realised price posted the same trend, hiking 6.2% on-month but dropping 46.1% on-year…
