China plans to ban petrol/diesel car production, sales
China is drawing up a schedule for phasing out the production and sale of fuel-based vehicles, according to the deputy director of the Economy & Information Commission (EIC), Xin Guobin. EIC also says it has created a points system to manage the ratio of fuel vehicles to new energy vehicles production at carmakers.
