China, Oman continue to lift Indian ore exports
Indian iron ore exports surged 78% on-year in November to 2.88 million tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry provisional data monitored by Kallanish. Their average price was $68/tonne versus $89/t in November 2018 and $66/t in October 2019.
Soaring shipments to China continued, rising 80% to 2.42mt. Japan reduced intake -14% to 183,310t, but Oman took in 108,390t versus zero in November 2018 and South Korea grew intake 38% to 74,690t.
