China objects to Brazil HRC countervailing investigation
China’s Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom) has reacted to Brazil's countervailing investigations into imports of Chinese hot rolled coil (see seperate article). The Brazilian Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Service (Secex/MDIC) launched the investigation on 21 November, following an anti-dumping investigation in motion since 20 July, Kallanish notes.
