China imports less iron ore in October
China imported less iron ore in October month-on-month according to the General Administration of Customs of China. Meanwhile, iron ore port inventories decreased over the month, Kallanish notes.
China imported 99.385 million tonnes of iron ore in October. This was1.8% lower month-on-month, while it grew 4.6% year-on-year. The total iron ore imports over the past ten months reached 975.842mt, up 6.5% y-o-y.
