China's HRC market rebounds slightly
Chinese domestic hot rolled coil prices rebounded a little last week on the back of smaller trader inventories, Kallanish notes.
In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 5.5x1,500mm Q235 HRC was trading at CNY 3,670-3,690/tonne ($515.27-518.08/t), CNY 50/t higher than the previous week. On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the January 2020 HRC contract closed CNY 48/t lower than Thursday and CNY 13/t lower over the week at CNY 3,394/t.
