China gains export hike as yuan loses value
Chinese steel exporters have gained a small increase in export prices and are targeting more despite the impact of a devaluing Chinese yuan. An increase in domestic Chinese prices is supporting the increase but exporters may not be able to sustain their price hike once domestic prices fall again, Kallanish notes.
