China extends coal duty-free import policy
China’s Ministry of Finance has extended the coal duty-free import policy from 1 April to 31 December.
Coal products involved include all major varieties such as bituminous coal, coking coal and thermal coal, which are classified under HS codes 2701.11.00, 2701.12.10, 2701.12.90, 2701.19.00, 2701.20.00, 2702.10.00 and 2702.20.00, Kallanish notes.
