China's graphite electrode exports jump in first quarter
In the first quarter, China exported 76,200 tonnes of graphite electrodes, increasing by 29.4% year-on-year, according to the China General Administration of Customs. The increase mirrors a sharp downturn in the domestic market, Kallanish notes.
