China restrictions may force coke output drop
The, Shandong government published a series of coking restrictions at the beginning of July. Shanxi, Jiangsu and Hebei governments meanwhile have also all taken actions to reduce coke production. Local analysts estimate restrictions from these four provinces may reduce national merchant coke production by 3%, Kallanish notes.
