China drives Turkey’s November seamless pipe imports rise
Turkey’s seamless pipes imports rose by 7.4% year-on-year to 28,073 tonnes in November, driven by a rise in shipments from China. The overall average value/tonne of these imports decreased by $509 to $890, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The country’s imports of seamless pipes grew 57.5% over October, when deliveries from China dropped by -36.9% y-o-y to 10,290t.
