China drags output down again despite EU/US rise
Crude steel production in the 64 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (worldsteel) fell for a third consecutive month in October, by 10.6% on-year to 145.67 million tonnes. Production grew again in the EU and US, but lower Chinese output again dragged down overall numbers, Kallanish notes.
On an on-month basis, global output was flat in October.
