China to double scrap usage rate over 2016-2020

China has completed a plan to promote the scrap industry over 2016-2020, according to the China Association of Metalscrap utilisation (CAMU). It aims to increase scrap usage in crude steel production from 10% to 20% over five years, Kallanish notes.
