China Customs details scrap import inspection requirements
According to the "Inspection Regulations for Imported Recycled Steel Raw Materials" issued by the General Administration of Customs of China, seven major types of imported scrap will have to be inspected at the port of entry and cannot be transported to other ports for inspection through transfer declaration applications, Kallanish notes.
