Chinese commodity giant buys UK's Stemcor

Guangzhou-based commodity conglomerate Cedar Holdings has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of UK-headquartered steel trader Stemcor, Kallanish learns. Stemcor says that it is aiming for the transaction to be completed in the first half of 2020.
