China Coal Jiuxin begins second coke oven construction
Shanxi Zhongmei Jiuxin Coking Company, affiliated to China National Coal Group Corporation, began to construct the second coke oven of its upgrading project last week, Kallanish notes.
The construction of first coke oven began on 29 June last year, and the company expects to commission the whole project in September this year.
Shanxi Province has been trying to upgrade coking companies’ facilities to larger ones for lower emissions.
