Chile’s CSH production grows in first quarter
Chile-based CAP Group's steelmaking arm, Compañía Siderúrgica Huachipato (CSH), saw its production improve both on-quarter and year-on-year in the first quarter, Kallanish learns from the company's Q1 report.
The steelmaker’s long steel production amounted to 164,000 tonnes in January-March, up 7.2% compared to 153,000t in Q4 2022. This volume was also 32.2% higher on-year.
