Chile`s CAP lowers 2019 iron ore shipments outlook
Chile’s CAP Group has downgraded its iron ore shipments’ outlook for 2019. These should fall year-on-year impacted by the Puerto Guacolda II iron ore loading system accident which occurred on 21 November 2018 and consequent delay of operational restart of the facility, the company says.
Construction work at the port have been slower than initially planned after being affected by the latest industrial protests in the country, CAP confirms.
