Chile's CAP Acero grows full-year steel shipments
Chile's CAP group's steelmaking arm, CAP Acero (Compañía Siderúrgica Huachipato), has increased both its shipments and revenues in 2017, Kallanish learns from the company's quarterly report. The segment still ran at a loss however, albeit reduced from that in 2016.
CAP Acero`s steel shipments amounted to 729,026 tonnes to the-end December, or up by 1.3% year-on-year compared to 719,909t in 2016. From…
