Chifeng Zhongtang contracts MCC22 for special bar mill
Chifeng Zhongtang has contracted China MCC22 Group Corporation, a subsidiary of Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC), to construct a special bar rolling mill.
This will be part of Chifeng Zhongtang’s fine steel project, involving steelmaking capacity of 2.7 million tonnes/year and ironmaking of 2.85m t/y (see Kallanish passim).
The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract was signed with China MCC22 Group Corporation on 29 July.
