Chifeng Zhongtang ignites second blast furnace
China’s Chifeng Zhongtang Special Steel in Inner Mongolia ignited its second blast furnace on 25 September, according to the facility builder China 22nd Metallurgical Corporation (MCC20).
The company is ramping up production to reach full capacity. The first BF took five months to reach official production in April this year after its ignition.
