Chengde Jianlong caps blast furnace, commissioning in December
Chengde Jianlong Special Steel has capped the 1,200m³ blast furnace at its upgrade project, which was constructed by China’s MCC22, Kallanish notes. The total investment is CNY 2 billion ($292.8 million).
The BF is due to be commissioned in December this year. Chengde Jianlong got the quota, 1.13 million tonnes/year of iron, from its own two 450m³ BFs and Tangshan Xinbaotai’s 450m³ BF.
