ChelPipe sees shipments fall away in H1 2016

Russia’s ChelPipe saw its steel pipe shipments fall strongly year-on-year in the first half of 2016, the company tells Kallanish. The only product to buck the trend was OCTG, shipments of which rose during the period. Shipments from the Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant and Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant fell by -19% on-year to 865,000 tonnes, a shortfall of 206,000t on H1 2015.
