Chelpipe's net profit rises despite lower shipments, revenue
Russian pipemaker Chelpipe's first-half shipments decreased by -24.7% on-year to 741,000 tonnes on the back of lower demand for large-diameter pipe (LDP). Demand fell as major infrastructure projects were completed in CIS and non-CIS countries, and due to Covid-19-related restrictions, the company says.
