Chelpipe upgrades production of seamless pipe
Russian pipemaker Chelpipe has launched a project to modernise non-destructive testing equipment for the production of seamless pipe. The firm says this will significantly increase the productivity of product acceptance control and completely eliminate the risk of pipe shipments with hidden defects.
The enterprise plans to finish the project by the end of 2020, with an automated non-destructive testing unit for seamless pipe in 57-426mm diameter and 1.5-45mm wall …
