ChelPipe ships maiden pipe to OMV
Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) will supply large-diameter pipe (LDP) to Austrian oil company OMV for the first time.
The Russian pipemaker has concluded an order for 850 tonnes of 508mm diameter pipe, with a wall thickness of 14.2mm and a three-layer polyethylene coating. Also included are 1,620t of 11mm wall thickness pipe. The pipe will be produced at the Vysota 239 LDP rolling mill.
