Chelpipe ramps up 2019 shipments on higher exports
Russian pipemaker Chelpipe increased pipe shipments in 2019 on the back of higher export volumes. The company expects stable demand for its products during 2020, which is set to result in similar shipment volumes to 2019, it says.
Total shipments of pipe products increased by 8% on-year to 2.07 million tonnes. The share of exports in overall sales increased to 36%, reaching 736,000t.
