Chelpipe seeks expanded sales following shipbuilding certification
Chelpipe’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant intends to expand its market activity after receiving certification for production of pipe for shipbuilding, Kallanish learns from the company.
The international certification body DNV GL approval includes the production of hot rolled and cold-deformed pipe made from carbon and carbon-manganese steel with a diameter up to 219mm and wall thickness up to 40mm.
