Cheaper billet pushes down Turkish merchant bar prices
Turkish merchant bar producers decreased their export offers further last week amid weakening billet values and soft demand.
Buyers, seeing the gradual decreases in billet prices, are lowering their price targets each day and halting purchases. Consequently, values recorded a sharp decline last week with a widening spread between producers’ offers.
