Changling Steel advances delayed capacity replacement plan
Zunyi Changling Special Steel began construction of the steel structures of the steelmaking workshop for its electric arc furnace (EAF) relocation and product upgrade project on 13 March.
The relocation of its 110-tonne EAF to a new plant in the Honghuagang District of Zunyi was initially expected to be completed in December 2023. But Changling only signed the engineering procurement construction contract with Shanghai Baoye Group that month.
