Changjiang Steel commissions 140t EAF
Changjiang Iron & Steel (Changjiang Steel) in Anhui Province has commissioned one 140-tonne electric arc furnace as part of its replacement project, Kallanish notes.
The construction of this EAF started in 2019. Italian technology supplier Danieli supplied the equipment. With a steel capacity of 1.1 million tonnes/year, the project includes one 140t EAF, one 140t ladle furnace and one seven-strand billet caster.
