Champion Iron restarts operations after forest fire evacuation
Champion Iron is gradually bringing its workforce back to the Bloom Lake mine in Canada following last week’s temporary shutdown and evacuation due to nearby forest fires, Kallanish discovers from a company press release.
With the fires subsiding and the evacuation order lifted in nearby Fremont, along the Quebec-Labrador border, Champion is restarting operations.
