Champion Iron nets $20m in fiscal first quarter
Champion Iron Limited has earned a net profit of more than $20 million as its Bloom Lake iron ore mine ramp-up continues, Kallanish reports.
The company earned $20.7m on sales of $150.7m in its fiscal first quarter, ended 30 June. Production during the quarter was 1.542 million tonnes at an average price of $86.61/t.
