Cemtas completes meltshop upgrade
Turkey's Cemtas has commissioned its modernised electric arc furnace that is expected to raise the meltshop capacity by 15%, the alloy bar maker says in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
The €1.4 million ($1.57m) upgrade, carried out by Primetals, included an EAF jet burner system installation, renovation and capacity expansion of the existing transformer at the steelworks, says Cemtas.
