Cemtas plans 15% increase of meltshop capacity
Turkish alloy steelmaker Cemtas plans to implement upgrades at its electric arc furnace that will lead to an estimated 15% increase in the production capacity of the meltshop.
These include an EAF jet burner system installation as well as renovation and capacity expansion of the existing transformer, Borsa Istanbul-listed Cemtas says in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
The €1.4 million ($1.5m) project is subject to necessary legal permissions…
