Cemtas boosts domestic and exports sales in H1
Turkey's Cemtas posted a 28% year-on-year increase in sales to 74,865 tonnes in the first half as both domestic and export demand grew, Kallanish learns from the alloy steelmaker's financial report.
First-half domestic sales increased 30% y-o-y to 41,159t, including 28t of billet sales, while exports came in at 33,706t, up 26% y-o-y. Exports accounted for 45% of Cemtas' total product sales for the period, compared to 46% a year ago, it adds.
